At LCL we are able to advise developers, landlords, owner-occupiers and tenants in relation to existing residential property portfolios, refurbishments and new build schemes. 

There are mandatory and good practice design requirements in relation to inclusive design and accessibility that are key to a successful residential project, throughout the concept, planning, design and construction stages as well as post occupancy.

We provide a range of ongoing advice and assistance alongside a design team for each the architectural stages 1 to 7, including the development of access statements, stage review documents, assessment of compliance with the now repealed Lifetime Homes Standards and Wheelchair Accessible Housing (for older schemes) and the new ADM 2015 Volume 1: Dwellings M4(1), (2) and (3) as well as market research for supply and take up of accessible housing.
